How the funding will be used

The former Fleece Hotel is a Grade I-listed complex of buildings comprising a twelfth-century undercroft, fifteenth-century timber-framed halls above, and other later buildings.

Cathedral Quarter funding is being used to undertake major works to expose more of the medieval timbers allowing proper recording and conservation to take place prior to future regeneration efforts.
